Artist Biography

Casey Eaton was born on January 4, 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia. Her parents are Johnny and Angie Eaton. Her parents separated and divorced when she was the young age of 8. She has one older brother, Chase. Her father, Johnny, remarried to a woman named Julie when Casey was the age of 14. She now has two half brothers that she is about 15 and 16 years older than. Her mother, Angie, did the best she could to give her all the love and encouragement she ever needed, which helped her to peruse her dream of studying art no matter the cost. She grew up with a passion for art. She preferred to draw and color as a child instead of play with Barbie’s or baby dolls. She always said as a little girl she wanted to be an artist. As she got older she extended her love of art into photography and it became her favorite hobby and passion. Eaton decided when it came time to think about her future and what she “wanted to be when she grew up” she knew that it would most definitely be in the arts and could think of nothing better than to be a photographer. She was destined to a life as an artist! She is now a senior art major at Mercer University and looking forward to graduation and finally seeing her long hard work and rigorous studying pay off; with hopes of a job in the arts to follow in the field of her dreams, photography or some type of fine art.
